Chilli sin Carne simply means chilli without meat. With this recipe you will get a rich and spicy casserole, packed with protein from black and white beans. Serve with tortilla chips, a dollop of cool crème fraiche, diced avocado, lime and coriander.

1 White onion |
1 tbsp Oil |
1 jar Black beans |
1 jar Big white beans |
1 jar Santa Maria Medium Salsa |
1 jar Green Chilli |
1 jar Crushed tomatoes |
1 sachet Santa Maria Chilli Con Carne Seasoning Mix |
50 ml Water |
To serve |

1 bag Tortilla Chips Salted |
1 Diced avocado |
1 Juice from a lime |
1 pot Coriander |
200 ml Crème fraiche |
How to prepare
- Chop the onion and fry in oil until golden, in a heavy saucepan.
- Rinse the beans and add to the onions. Brown lightly.
- Add Medium Salsa , green chilli, crushed tomatoes, water and the Chilli con Carne Seasoning Mix.
- Let simmer for about 10 minutes on low heat.
- Serve with tortilla chips, crème fraiche, diced avocado, lime and coriander.
