Recipe for a vegetarian Stroganoff made with Halloumi cheese. Serve with a fresh green salad and rice.

1 tbsp cooking oil |
300 g halloumi cheese |
1 onion |
1 garlic clove |
1 tbsp tomato puree |
1.5 tbsp mustard |
400 g chopped tomatoes |
100 ml water |
100 ml crème fraiche |
1 tsp smoked paprika |
2.5 ml chipotle pepper |
2.5 ml Santa Maria Rock Salt |
5 ml Santa Maria Tellicherry Black Pepper |
How to prepare
- Fry strips of halloumi in oil in a hot pan. Set aside.
- Finely chop onion and press the garlic clove. Fry onion and garlic until golden in oil.
- Add all ingredients except the halloumi and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Add the halloumi strips and serve with rice and a fresh green salad.
