The butternut squash is really nice to pickle and goes along with almost anything: fish, chicken, meat and greens. It's easy to make too!

1 dl Etikkaa
2 dl sokeria
3 dl vettä
1 kpl Santa Maria Laakerinlehti
10 kpl Santa Maria Svartpeppar Hel
5 kpl Santa Maria Neilikka, kokonainen
0.5 kpl sitruunan kuori

Tee näin

  1. Peal and dice the butternut squash into small cubes.
  2. Boil vinegar, sugar and water together with spices and lemon peel.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and add the butternut squash and allow to cool.
  4. Serve in salads or as a good accessory for fish, chicken, meat and vegetarian food.
